MUMBAI: Engineering design and geo-spatial services firm Infotech Enterprises Ltd has got 3-4 per cent higher price realisations in the current quarter from some of its large customers, a top official said on Friday. "We have been getting higher price realisations, especially from our large customers, who appreciate and empathise with the difficult times we are passing through," Chairman and Managing Director BVR Mohan Reddy told reporters on the sidelines of a technology conference. Does Your Car's A/C Have You Hot Under the Collar?
TARRYTOWN, N.Y., Jan. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- MS -- When summer comes and it's time to switch on your car's A/C, it might not blow as cold as you'd like it to. In fact, it could even be blowing hot air. Some estimate that older vehicles can lose as much as 15 percent of their air conditioning refrigerant every year, leakage generally caused when the system is not used during the winter months. During these months, the system's small O-ring seals dry out resulting in refrigerant loss and deterioration in system performance. The good news is, bringing back the cool to your car's A/C and enjoying a sweat-free ride to work doesn't have to mean an expensive stop at the corner garage. Automotive air conditioning technology has produced a new generation of easy-to-use, do-it-yourself products that makes bringing the cool back to your car simple, easy and a lot less costly than that trip to the mechanic's.

Smoke causes evacuation at Clinton headquarters
A malfunctioning air conditioning unit on the roof of Sen. Hillary Clinton's campaign headquarters caused an evacuation tonight before firefighters arrived and found no fire. Firefighters were called just before 8:20 p.m. after the malfunction sent smoke into the building at 701 E. Ben White Blvd., Austin Fire Department Capt. Rob Bredahl said. "There was never actually any fire or any real danger," he said. Bredahl said such malfunctions are common with air conditions on roofs. Between 50 to 60 volunteers and staff were in the building when they smelled smoke and someone called the fire department, campaign spokeswoman Adrienne Elrod said. After firefighters cleared the building, everyone went back inside and got back to work. "The only thing we're suffering from is a bad stench," Elrod said.
Willy Northpole and the Phoenix hip-hop scene explode
The fact is, unlike trials for embezzlement or murder or even rape, CPS dependency hearings, which determine custody and whether parents continue to have the right to raise their children, are closed to the public. The agency's paperwork is also sealed. And that means the entire system operates without scrutiny from outsiders, be they reporters or advocates. (There's a state ombudsman, but he is legally barred from releasing specifics about cases.) We never get to see the evidence that would determine whether kids are wrongly being taken from their parents, as so many callers insist on my voice mail, or whether CPS is instead erring on the side of leaving kids in unsafe homes. We can write about the big picture because CPS has to release some statistical information every six months.
